Documentation for the SureCart to MailerPress Connector — install, connect, configure your lists and tags, and backfill your existing customers.
Updated June 2026·v1.0.0
What is the SureCart to MailerPress Connector?
The connector automatically adds your SureCart customers to a MailerPress list when they buy. It maps purchases to lists and tags, syncs order data into custom fields for segmentation, reacts to subscription lifecycle events, and can backfill every customer who bought before you installed it.
It is a focused bridge: SureCart handles selling, MailerPress handles email, and this keeps your audience in sync between them.
Requires an active licence
SureCart and MailerPress must both be active, and an active licence (entered under Settings → SC → MP License) is required to sync.
Requirements & installation
Requires WordPress 6.0+, PHP 7.4+, and the SureCart and MailerPress plugins active. Upload the plugin ZIP under Plugins → Add New, activate it, then open Settings → SureCart → MailerPress.
Setup in five minutes
Pick (or create) your customers list.
Choose how buyers are added: subscribed, pending (double opt-in), or unsubscribed.
Optionally map individual products to extra lists and tags.
Optionally enable custom-field sync and subscription-lifecycle actions.
Run the one-click backfill to import your existing customers.
Settings reference
Everything lives on one screen — Settings → SureCart → MailerPress: customers list, consent mode, per-product lists & tags, custom fields, subscription lifecycle, backfill, and the activity log.
Customers list — the MailerPress list every buyer is added to. Create one inline if you do not have it yet.
When someone buys — consent: add buyers as subscribed, pending (double opt-in), or unsubscribed.
Per-product lists & tags — map individual SureCart products to extra MailerPress lists and tags.
Sync order data to custom fields — writes Last product, Last order value, Last order date and Customer since for segmentation.
Subscription lifecycle — optional lists or tags when a customer gains or loses access.
Sync existing customers — one-click backfill of every past SureCart buyer, processed in the background.
Activity log — a record of recent syncs, with optional verbose logging to the PHP error log.
